Poste et missions
In this role, you will be responsible for managing HR data integrity, responding to audit recommendations, overseeing HR-related projects, leading the annual Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) re-certification process, and driving process improvement and automation initiatives within the HR function.
Management:
- Maintain and enhance HR systems integration, ensuring accuracy and integrity of employee data in compliance with UK laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of HR data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Create and maintain data entry guidelines to optimize data capture processes.
- Analyze and report on internal and external survey benchmarking data (Opinion surveys, Inclusion Survey, City HR benchmarking, Aon McLagan compensation benchmarking).
Recommendations and compliance:
- Respond to audit recommendations related to HR data management and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Be responsible for the implementation and oversight of a control framework for HR processes.
- Prepare compliance reports for internal and external audits, ensuring alignment with UK employment laws and data protection regulations.
Re-Certification Process:
- Lead and coordinate the annual SMCR re-certification process, ensuring compliance with FCA guidelines.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather and verify data required for certification.
- Prepare documentation and reports for submission to regulatory bodies as needed.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making processes.
- Maintain a close relationship with the Finance department.
- Manage financial and headcount planning - budgets, forecasts, quarterly business reviews, updates to Capacity Planning ("CaPla") and the validation thereof.
- Develop dashboards to effectively communicate HR data insights to stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of compliance reports for various stakeholders.
Payroll controls:
- Ensure input/changes for the monthly payroll are accurate and provide a four-eye review.
- Manage the IR35 process for external consultants.
Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives and projects effectively.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and report on project status to stakeholders.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within HR systems and workflows, focusing on automation using tools like Excel macros and Power Automate.
- Stay updated with HR technologies and trends to recommend and implement automation tools that streamline HR processes.
- Develop and implement best practices for data management and HR operations to foster continuous improvement.
Data Governance:
- Ensure adherence to data protection regulations, including UK GDPR, and internal policies regarding employee information.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks to manage HR data lifecycle.
- Manage vendor relationships, including Edays and Moorepay, to ensure coordination.
- Provide training and support to HR team members on data management best practices.
Profil et compétences requises
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR data management, analysis, or project management.
- Commercially minded, strong numeracy, and grasp of data.
- IT literacy - strong Excel skills are essential.
- Strong proficiency in HRIS and other data management tools.
- Inquisitive with an enquiring mind.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate ideas and data clearly.
- Ability to multi-task and delegate, while maintaining high standards.
- Ability to implement processes and procedures to a high standard.
Desirable
- Previous experience in financial services, ideally investment banking.
- Familiarity with SMCR is highly desirable.
- Professional HR qualification(s) such as CIPD or similar certification.
