What you will do:

1. Conduct and record preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis of critical plant and equipment, and support the corrective actions identified.
2. Support and facilitate specialist subcontractors/vendors during planned, reactive, or project tasks while ensuring they conform to site procedures and safety documentation.
3. Monitor, maintain, investigate, and acknowledge the BMS and SCADA systems.
4. Undertake daily site checks to note and proactively repair any defects and maintain plant rooms in a clean, tidy, and safe condition.
5. Rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to ensure SLA timeframes are met.
6. Provide rapid and effective responses to customer and helpdesk requirements.
7. Ensure compliance and escalate any issues affecting the site’s availability, health, safety, and security.
8. Adhere to all current company and Critical Engineering Management policies.
9. Provide innovative solutions and recommendations to improve processes, buildings, plant, and systems.

Person Specification

What you will need:

1. Strong Mechanical and/or Electrical Knowledge & experience.
2. Eligible to obtain high-level security clearance (British passport holder + 10 years in the UK).
3. Good knowledge of Generators, Cooling systems, and UPS systems.
4. Hold a valid UK driving license.
5. Able to organise and manage your own workload.
6. Aware of site criticality and work risks.
7. Good admin skills with Microsoft packages.
8. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
