Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician for a 6-month contract on-site in Greater London. The role involves maintaining critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, monitoring performance, and supporting incident resolution.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical, with proven data centre experience and familiarity with UPS, generators, HVAC, and transformers. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Experience working with critical facilities or industrial environments.
• Proven data centre experience.
• Exposure to UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chillers or transformers.

Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician

6 Month Contract initially

£204.16 - £226.88 PAYE per day

On-site, 5 days per week, shift-based environment

The Opportunity

We're supporting our market leading client in the hiring of Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician to join their world-class Infrastructure Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for electrically or mechanically qualified engineers to gain experience within one of the world's most advanced critical environments.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
• Experience working with critical facilities, building services or industrial environments
• Proven Data centre experience
• Exposure to UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chillers or transformers
