Job summary

Ten11 is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer / Data Centre Shift Engineer for a major data centre in Croydon, South London. You will operate and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure to maximise uptime and resilience.

This hands-on role requires strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work to RAMS and safe systems of work, within a live data centre environment. Key systems include HV/LV distribution, UPS, Generators, Switchgear, HVAC and BMS.

Qualifications

Experience in data centres or critical facilities.
Knowledge of UPS, generators, LV distribution, switchgear.
Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
Comfortable with shift work and operating in live data centre environments.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure within a live data centre.
Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, BMS and related infra.
Monitor plant and equipment to maximise availability and resilience.
Respond to alarms and faults, escalating as required.
Fault finding and first-line diagnosis across electrical and mechanical systems.
Work under permits-to-work and RAMS, and supervise subcontractors on site.
