Job summary

Expanded are looking for a Section Engineer to join our data centre project in Didcot. The role focuses on taking technical responsibility for defined works from planning through to delivery, while guiding site engineers and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

You will oversee setting out, surveying, ITPs and change control, while promoting best practices in health and safety and digital engineering adoption across the work area.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying and engineering controls.
• Experience managing ITPs, quality processes, inspections and testing requirements.
• Previous TWS experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Taking technical responsibility for a defined section of works from planning through to delivery.
• Coordinating temporary works activities and supporting safe delivery.
• Overseeing setting out, dimensional control and survey activities.
• Managing ITPs and ensuring works meet specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborating with operational, commercial and design teams to achieve project objectives.
• Monitoring progress, quality and delivery outcomes.
