We’re hiring a team of experienced Architects for a major data centre migration from on-prem to Azure with one of our long-standing financial services clients.
This is a large-scale transformation programme that involves the full range of architectural disciplines required to successfully migrate complex legacy systems to Azure cloud infrastructure. We are looking for professionals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment and who have experience delivering within enterprise-scale migrations.
The engagement covers a full data centre exit and cloud migration programme. It includes a combination of rehosting, replatforming and refactoring legacy applications into cloud-native Azure solutions, as well as associated infrastructure and data migration streams.
Migration Architects – skilled in assessing and refactoring applications for Azure PaaS/IaaS, with a strong understanding of cloud-native principles.
Enterprise Architects – to shape strategy, define roadmaps and align technology with business goals across the programme.
Technical Solution Architects – to design end-to-end technical solutions and ensure seamless integration across systems and platforms.
Business Domain Architects – to bridge business needs and technical delivery, providing contextual insight into legacy systems and domain-specific constraints.
- Mostly remote, with occasional on-site attendance in the north of England (approx. once a month)
- UK-based candidates only
- Initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension
- Our consultants join Vantage Point as FTE so are IR35 exempt
