Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in the UK is seeking an experienced Data Centre IFM Operations Manager to lead the control of critical infrastructure across multiple sites near Corby and Peterborough.

You will drive resilience, safety and uptime, oversee engineering governance, incident response and business continuity, and shape long‑term asset strategies while partnering with the Strategic Client Director and site Technical IFM Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations within data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Knowledge of governance, resilience, risk management and compliance.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and facilities teams across sites.
• Proven track record delivering high service levels with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead incident response, business continuity and service recovery.
• Strong commercial awareness including budgets and supplier performance.
• Excellent communication with clients, senior stakeholders and technical teams.
• Collaborative leadership style that develops and motivates others.

• Own the operational authority across multiple sites.
