Job summary

Facade Today is seeking a Data Centre Facilities Engineer to join our expanding team in the UK. The role requires hands-on maintenance of critical data centre infrastructure, including LV electrical systems, generators, switchgear and HVAC, with on-call duties and travel between sites.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in preventative and reactive maintenance, BMS monitoring, and a strong focus on health & safety.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel between multiple sites.
• Eligible for SC Clearance.
• Working knowledge of LV Electrical systems, generators, switchgear, and critical infrastructure.
• Experience with HVAC and cooling systems.
• Understanding of fire detection/suppression and security systems.
• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance (PPM schedules).
• Ability to monitor systems using BMS (Building Management Systems).
• Experience working alongside contractors, vendors, and external engineers.
• Strong health & safety awareness and compliance knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: £32,000 per annum + on-call allowance

Due to periods of growth and expansion a leading organisation is recruiting now. My client is looking for an Data Centre Facilities Engineer to join their team.

Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel between multiple sites
