Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Centre Engineer (HVAP) in Slough to lead maintenance of critical plant and systems.

The role reports to the Engineering Supervisor and involves safe supervision of tasks, adherence to permits, and ensuring compliance with site policies and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have HVAP authorisation, wiring regulations knowledge, and a strong safety background, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced data

Qualifications

• HVAP authorisation and safe working practices on critical facilities.
• Current Wiring Regulations certification and related safety knowledge.
• Experience in real-time incident/fault management in critical environments.
• Strong health and safety discipline with ability to follow site policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building plant, equipment and systems to meet SLAs.
• Respond to BMS alarms and perform emergency repairs when needed.
• Create and follow switching schedules, SOPs and EOPs per policy.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure safety and contractual compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records (REALM RAMS review).
• Support shift teams on site and maintain professional image with clients.
