Job summary

Falcon Green Personnel is partnering with a leading contractor on a major Data Centre project in Groningen. We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to support site leadership in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

The role requires 3-7 years in EHS within construction or mission-critical environments, NEBOSH/HVK qualification, and fluent English (Dutch desirable).

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental, or a related discipline.
• Recognised EHS qualification (NEBOSH, HVK, or equivalent).
• 3-7 years' experience in an EHS role within construction or mission-critical environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Dutch Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, site-based, and solutions-focused approach.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health & Safety systems on site.
• Promote a positive safety culture through visible leadership and engagement.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Advise site management, subcontractors, and operatives on EHS best practices and legal requirements.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch and EU Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Review method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and EHS training as required.
• Support regulatory inspections and external audits.
