• Overall delivery leader with direct people management oversight and responsibility. Accountable for overall Data Centre delivery P&L.
• Accountable/Responsible for client experience and satisfaction.
• Leads multiple project managers supporting data centre projects across Europe. Develops overall roadmap for the various projects that will be needed to meet the client’s requirements.
• Partners with account management team to identify client needs and develops solution options and services to meet those needs.
• Leads project delivery team including Construction and QA managers in preparing project execution plans in partnership with all participating organisations, including identification of work and organisational breakdown structures, requirements creation and management, cost and material estimates, milestone payment schedule, and risk and communication management plans.
• Manages project control fundamentals: monitoring and anticipating potential problems; identifying project conflicts; taking corrective action; resolving issues; managing scope, schedule, cost, profit, and budget; project reporting, and quality review and assurance.
• Manages revenue forecasting/tracking
• Reviews SOWs and pricing/estimation during pre-sales, and also assists in proposal development and contract and subcontract negotiations with the sales and legal teams.
• Coordinates with the legal team for contracts associated with customers and vendors.
• Develops staffing plans which ensure the delivery team has the capability and capacity to execute solutions.
• Promotes continuous growth of project and program management practices within the Data Centre practice to achieve client and organisational objectives.
• Issues and communicates program status to leadership, steering committee, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
• Able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, Business or Project Management; or equivalent relevant experience preferred
• 10 years minimum work experience
• 8-10 years of operations/delivery management experience
• Project/Program managed minimum 3 projects of at least $5M each. Technical/Engineering or Vendor Certifications (such as BICSI: DCDC, RCDD, or CCIE Data Center) desired.
• Business or Program Management Certifications (such as PMP, SixSigma or PgPM) desired
• Proven experience collaborating with sales and delivery teams in aligning to client strategy to drive growth

• Delivery/Operations & project management experience and expertise required
• Detailed understanding of project/program management governance principles
• Communication skills to include conflict management, negotiation, presentation/demonstration, and written communication
• People leader experienced in mobilisation of diverse workforces internationally
• Experience in change management and scope control
• Strong commercial management experience: cost control, budgeting and forecasting
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to plan/organise workloads
• Background in leading large-scale infrastructure deployments
• Knowledge of Data Centre and Construction environment
