Job summary

RG Setsquare in Harlow is seeking a Data Centre Day Technician to maintain environmental conditions and critical building systems. You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive, and breakdown tasks on mechanical and electrical plant, using alarm data to fault-find on UPS, generators, PDUs, and CRAC units.

The role reports to the Shift Leader and involves coordination with the Account Manager, Contract Manager and on-site engineering team to ensure safe, compliant operations

Qualifications

• Formally trained in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to defined criteria.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned PPM on mechanical and electrical plant.
• Complete reactive tasks and breakdown work across the site.
• Fault-find using alarm data and graphical information for UPS, gensets, PDUs and CRAC units.
• Work with the account manager and site team to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Maintain up-to-date shift logs and pass documentation to contract administration.
