Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is recruiting a CSA Engineer to support civil, structural and architectural packages on a major data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. The role entails setting out, inspections, drawing reviews and coordinating with the CSA Lead and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in CSA construction, a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and strong organisation and communication skills. Data centre experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in CSA construction.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience delivering civil, structural or architectural packages.
• Good understanding of drawings, setting out and site procedures.
• Experience with technical queries, inspections and quality documentation.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Previous data centre experience advantageous; other major projects considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil, structural and architectural packages across the project.
• Carry out setting out, site inspections and checks.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure works meet designs.
• Raise and manage RFIs to resolve engineering and construction issues.
• Oversee QA/QC procedures.
• Identify, record and track variations.
• Coordinate snagging and defects close-out.
• Monitor daily construction progress and assist programme delivery.
• Work closely with the CSA Lead, Construction Managers and subcontractors.
