Job summary

TGS International Group is seeking an experienced Plumber & Pipefitter to install and commission cooling systems and piping infrastructure in hyperscale data centres. This is a site-based role in Hertfordshire with UK and European travel, offering a £50,000–£55,000 salary plus benefits and a daily travel allowance.

You will interpret drawings, fabricate supports, install CDUs and heat exchangers, test systems, fix leaks and coordinate with electrical and project teams while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Commercial mechanical installation experience (cooling systems)
• Strong pipefitting and support fabrication experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with pressure testing and leak remediation
• Relevant mechanical qualification or apprenticeship
• Valid site safety card and full driving licence
• Willingness to travel to UK/Europe
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble piping networks for cooling systems to project specs and drawings
• Fabricate and install pipework supports and structures
• Support CDU and rear-door heat exchanger installation and commissioning
• Interpret drawings and plan installations
• Pressure test, inspect and fix leaks/defects
• Assist flushing, cleaning and chemical dosing of cooling loops
• Support commissioning and client handover with test records
• Coordinate with electrical/controls teams on site
• Follow RAMS and safety requirements on live sites
