Job summary

Global Commissioning Limited is seeking a Commissioning Project Lead to oversee the design, installation and commissioning of critical data centre systems and IT infrastructure. You will lead Project Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely delivery.

You will run design, construction and acceptance phases, manage testing, reporting, and stakeholder communications, and drive the project to a successful handover with thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of trade apprenticeship or qualifications – Essential.
• BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent – Essential.
• CSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS holder – Essential.
• HNC – Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services - Essential.
• Prince 2 or equivalent – Desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, installation and commissioning phases for critical data centre systems.
• Lead commissioning workshops, witness tests, and compile reports.
• Draft and manage commissioning checklists and test scripts.
• Coordinate client meetings, updates and progress tracking.
• Deliver the Final Commissioning Report and support handover to operations.
