Job summary

Sweco UK Limited is seeking an experienced Architecture Team Manager to lead a team of architects and designers in data centre projects within our Mission Critical division. You will guide design solutions, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

The role requires extensive data centre design experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Extensive experience in design and construction of data centres.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of architects and designers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and related design software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects and designers in data centre design solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Manage project timelines and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop relationships with clients and maintain stakeholder trust.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Stay current with data centre design practices and industry trends.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Review and approve architectural drawings and specifications.
