Job summary

Reboot Monkey in the United Kingdom is seeking a Data Center Technician to join on-site in Harlow. You will support critical infrastructure and ensure high availability of server and network equipment.

Responsibilities include cabling, deployments, monitoring environmental systems, incident response, and close collaboration with engineering and operations. The role requires 3+ years in data center ops and relevant certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
