Job summary

Uniper in the United Kingdom seeks a senior commercial leader to drive Data Center developments, power supply contracts, and innovative concepts like Powered Land and Private Wire.

You will lead negotiations with customers and partners, coordinate cross-functional teams, and build the UK Data Center network while reporting to the Head of Commercial Asset Solutions Europe. This role requires strong stakeholder management, project leadership, and a clear understanding of electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial mindset with proven ownership and results
• Track record in developing long-term business relationships
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder networks including customers and authorities
• Proven coordination across cross-functional teams
• Significant project management experience in infrastructure projects
• Good technical understanding of electrical infrastructure and grid structures
• Excellent written and oral communication in an international environment
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify UK Data Center sites and assets for developments
• Evaluate power-related customer capacity contracts and other opportunities
• Lead ideation through to financial decisions on Powered Land and Private Wire concepts
• Structure commercial agreements for behind‑the‑meter arrangements and long-term contracts
• Build and maintain an overview of UK Data Center activities
• Coordinate and maintain the Data Center customer network across the deal value chain
• Lead commercial negotiations with customers and partners at decision-maker level
• Collaborate with Power, Real Estate, Business Controlling, Legal, and Risk teams
