Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer II (Shift Engineer) in Woking to deliver technical customer service and operational support in a data center environment. You will act as the first contact for technical issues, execute repairs, support installations and migrations, and maintain inventory while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires on‑call duties, collaboration with internal teams and external partners, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills to minimize

Qualifications

• Experience in ‘Mission critical’ operations and maintenance of large scale electrotechnical and/or Electrical and Mechanical systems.
• HVAC Electrical preferred.
• Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Drive adherence to safety policies and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Manage maintenance and repair operations, including subcontractors coordination.
• Perform on‑call duties and manage incidents as necessary.
• Document progress and results, and implement improvements.
• Demonstrate advanced technical skills in troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Assist with planning critical maintenance / change requests.
