QTS Data Centers in Cambois, England is seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee physical security services across our data center. You will supervise contract guards, coordinate with vendors, and lead incident response while ensuring customer and employee safety with excellent service.

The role focuses on managing security programs, maintaining CCTV and access controls, and delivering continuous improvements. Travel to support site security initiatives may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security patrolling and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience managing security vendors, contractors and customers.
• 3+ years working in operations, physical security or equivalent environment.
• 2+ years project management experience.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% including the ability to travel to other sites to provide training and support as needed.

Responsabilités

• Supervise contract front line security staff and daily security operations to provide a safe experience for all who enter the facility.
• Manage security operations for a data center.
• Maintain coordination with security vendor management to improve team skills through training and exercises.
• Interface with vendors involved in system repairs for current sites and new security for construction.
• Evaluate and drive continuous improvement of contract guard operations using KPIs and improvement plans.
• Ensure all security systems are functional (Access Control, CCTV, alarms) and logs are maintained.
• Respond 24/7/365 to emergencies and non-emergency requests in a professional manner.
• Develop relationships with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
