Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking an Assembly Operative - Repair Service to join our team in a leading data centre environment. You will handle preparation, assembly, replacement, and movement of hardware components in a safety-driven setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to procedures, and teamwork as you support repair workflows across servers, storage, network, power and cooling equipment while maintaining records and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of English and ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Basic computer skills including web browsers, email and standard office apps.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a team environment.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hardware components, spare parts, and equipment required for repair activities.
• Identify, scan, label, track, and update the status of components in relevant systems.
• Carry out component assembly or replacement following approved procedures and work instructions.
• Support repair workflows involving servers, storage, network, power and cooling equipment.
• Perform visual inspections and basic procedural checks.
• Maintain accurate operational records in required tracking tools and client systems.
• Support the controlled flow of components and equipment within the Repair Service.
• Maintain an organised workspace in line with 5S and site standards.
• Use tools and equipment safely and correctly and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, client representatives, and other site stakeholders.
