Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers in London are seeking a Critical Facilities Maintenance Shift Engineer to plan and deliver facilities maintenance across our data centers. Based at the Dagenham site, you will work a 12-hour continental shift on a 24/7 rota to keep critical systems performing at the highest level.

You will lead maintenance activities, ensure safety and compliance, and support the engineering teams to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• 17th Edition electrical qualification or equivalent required.
• HND or similar in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services.
• Good understanding of data centre cooling and building services.
• Authorized person LV status preferred.
• Membership of IET, BIFM, CIBSE or similar institutes desirable.
• Experience with F-GAS/J11 is an advantage.
• Demonstrable experience in operating fault finding of complex M&E systems.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned preventative and reactive maintenance to data centre facilities.
• Evaluate plant and equipment and suggest improvements where appropriate.
• Record maintenance activity accurately to update Key Source System.
• Carry out operations and maintenance safely and to SLA guidelines.
• Lead PPM and reactive work to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Act as High Voltage Authorized Person and manage inspection/testing program.
• Supervise and guide the Shift Engineering Team to ensure critical services run smoothly.
• Ensure all services are delivered to high technical standards with proper sign-offs.
