  • Respond to basic incidents and assist with on-site incident response.

Job Summary

As part of our operations team, you will maintain critical facilities infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and safety. You will work closely with team members to deliver outstanding service to our data centre customers. Responsibilities

  1. Maintain facility infrastructure and perform planned maintenance activities.
  2. Conduct site inspections and supervise building and data centre alarms.
  3. Ensure preventative maintenance on site infrastructure, overseeing vendors as necessary.
  4. Maintain repairs and perform corrective maintenance on equipment.
  5. Complete site logs and gather data for permits, including MOPs and scripts.
  6. Assist senior staff with on-site incident response and act as directed.
  7. Respond to basic incidents based on own knowledge and experience.
  8. Complete work requests and circuit installations.
  9. Contribute to infrastructure projects and carry out small works projects, such as lighting upgrades.

Qualifications

  • ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Broad knowledge of critical infrastructure systems, including UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems.
  • Self-motivated with flexibility.
  • Willingness to work shifts (days, nights, weekends).
Desired
  • Full qualified apprenticeship.
  • HV switching experience.
  • Clean UK driving license.
