Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is hiring a Day Engineer – Mechanical or Electrical at the LON1 site in Dagenham. You will plan, manage and deliver facilities maintenance to support high-availability data centers.

The role requires 2–5 years trade experience, NVQ3, and strong knowledge of BMS/SCADA, electrical and mechanical systems. You will work Monday to Friday, maintain safety standards and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical trades.
• 2–5 years trade experience.
• Experience in a Data Centre or critical infrastructure.
• IOSH Managing Safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused planned and reactive maintenance to meet SLAs and complete PPMs.
• Record and report maintenance activities and diagnose faults.
• Monitor BMS alarms and ensure correct operation of critical services.
• Assist with incident investigations to establish root cause.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for maintenance, repairs and installations while following safety standards.
• Maintain logs and system documentation; ensure compliance with safety procedures.
