Job Description

The Data Center Construction Program Manager - EMEA will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the construction and improvements of data centers within the EMEA region. Reporting directly to the Director of Construction, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing the construction of state-of-the-art data centers, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data center construction projects, from planning and design to execution and commissioning.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of data center construction, power and cooling infrastructure, and related technologies.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that technical specifications are met and project goals align with industry best practices.

Budget Oversight:

  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, reliable data center facilities.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks.

  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in managing data center construction projects in the EMEA region.

  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, power and cooling systems, and related technologies.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including budget creation and oversight.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
