Job description

Job title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Duration: 3 months initially
Day rate: £180 per day (CIS, Limited Company or PAYE - contractor can choose)
Start date: ASAP
Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm
Pay frequency: Weekly

We are assisting a successful company who specialise in the installation of copper and fibre network cabling for a large government client.
As Data Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for cable pulling, termination and testing.

Essential requirements

  • Previous experience operating as a Data Cabling Engineer
  • Cat6 installation, cable pulling & termination experience
  • Fibre pulling
  • Good understanding of health and safety practice, supported with a CSCS or ECS card
  • Able to work in a team
  • An energetic work ethic, focussed on a positive and timely outcome
  • Able to work in England without requiring sponsorship or the processing of a work visa
