Data Business Analyst London / WFH to £120k
Are you a data savvy Business Analyst with experience of working in Asset Management environments?
You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on Data Business Analyst role at a tech driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.
As a Data Business Analyst you'll work across the Investment, Operations and Client pillars, partnering with Data Owners and business stakeholders to understand data needs, identify opportunities and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable deliverables. You'll own discovery and scoping across a portfolio of initiatives, defining data quality expectations, clarifying ownership and domain boundaries and shaping the business requirements that inform the evolution of the data platform.
Collaborating with architects and engineers, you'll translate business needs into data contracts, user stories, acceptance criteria and project scopes, helping prioritise work, sequence delivery and manage trade-offs. You'll also support testing and user acceptance to ensure new data capabilities meet business needs.
You'll play a key role in evaluating and implementing data capabilities across areas such as data quality, metadata, cataloguing, master data management and observability. Working with technology teams and vendors, you'll ensure solutions align with data architecture and governance standards, while driving adoption through documentation, training and stakeholder feedback.
You'll continually identify opportunities to improve data quality, traceability and delivery, promoting a data product mindset across the organisation. This is an influential, business facing role where the problems you define will help shape the firm's data strategy and how it uses data to generate client alpha.
Location / WFH:
There's a hybrid work from home policy with 2-3 days in the London office per week where you'll join a supportive, diverse team environment with a large range of facilities.
