Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks a Data Architect to replace legacy Military Medical Solutions with a cloud-based COTS approach.

You will document AS-IS and TO-BE data environments, produce design documents and data models, and work with the MOD Programme Manager and Lead Architect to shape the Target Architecture. The role requires SC clearance and will be based in Corsham, Wiltshire, with travel to London, Lichfield, Bristol and Leeds as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in defining Data Architecture Frameworks and Blueprints for Large Scale Development.
• Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling (star/snowflake).
• Data development, configuration and integration planning.
• Firm understanding of Web Service concepts (WSDL, XSD, XML, REST, SOA).
• Minimum 3 years in multi-disciplinary IT architecture teams.
• Minimum 3 years in Data Warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and document AS-IS and TO-BE data environments for Programme themes.
• Create High-Level Design Documents and Data Interfaces.
• Develop Data Canonical Models and Data Dictionaries with Data Architect.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to architect healthcare data solutions.
• Work under Lead Architect to transition to new Programme architecture.
