Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to join our team and partner with leading financial services clients. You will leverage your understanding of the financial services industry and data architecture expertise to design and implement innovative solutions that enable clients to leverage their data as an asset. Your responsibilities include assessing data needs, designing data architectures, and developing roadmaps aligned with business and data strategies. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement data models supporting business processes
2. Manage database systems for performance, scalability, and security
3. Develop data integration strategies ensuring data consistency and quality
4. Create and maintain the overall data architecture strategy, selecting suitable technologies and frameworks
5. Establish data governance policies to ensure compliance and manage data access
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions
7. Monitor data systems, identify improvements, and implement enhancements

About the candidate:

• Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake)
• Proficiency in logical and physical data modeling, including normalization techniques
• Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and how data architecture supports business objectives
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience with Data Quality Rules, DQ Dimensions, and triaging resolution processes
• Proactive in staying updated with emerging data technologies and trends, especially in Microsoft technologies, to innovate data strategies in financial services
