Job Description
We are looking for a Data Architect to set the vision for the organisation’s use of customer data, through data design, to meet business needs. You should know how to analyze and profile data sources, model data at destinations (warehouses and others), define system requirements, and implement migration methods for existing data.
Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL is essential, as we use Oracle and other storage systems. Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) is preferred. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), AWS basics, and Python is desirable.
Ultimately, you will develop and maintain data models representing business entities, store them securely, and ensure data benefits stakeholders.
The Data Architect is part of the Data Engineering team, collaborating with various functions like Technical Operations, Customer Experience, and more, in a global business environment. This role requires agility, audacity, and dedication to ensure the right data architecture supports research goals efficiently.
