Data Architect (Snowflake DBT) London / WFH to £150k
Do you have a strong knowledge of Data Architecture within regulated financial environments?
You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a tech driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.
As a Data Architect you'll define how data is organised, governed and used across the firm, setting the principles, standards, patterns and target states that shape major data decisions. Collaborating across Investment, Business and Technology teams, you'll provide architectural direction across key data initiatives and ensure the firm's data landscape supports strategic business and investment objectives.
You'll define and evolve enterprise data architecture, maintaining architectural views of key domains, data products, flows and assets. You'll establish standards covering data modelling, metadata, lineage, master and reference data and data quality, while providing guidance on how data should be sourced, integrated, stored and consumed across operational and analytical use cases.
A key focus will be ensuring data is structured and governed for reliable AI and analytics consumption, with the quality, metadata, lineage and context required to support effective use. You'll work closely with delivery teams, architects and platform engineering to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, governance and wider technology strategy.
You'll also identify opportunities to simplify the data landscape, reduce duplication and improve consistency across platforms, applications and reporting environments. This is a high impact role with genuine influence over the firm's data direction, working close to the business while shaping the architecture that enables it.
