Job description


Contract Length: 6 months (starting early July)
Day Rate: Up to £760 (outside IR35)
Location: Jersey/Hybrid

Join our client's Digital Services team on a strategic digital infrastructure transformation. We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect to support a high-impact modernisation programme aimed at improving resilience, data integrity, and cybersecurity.

This role requires expertise in data design, governance, and integration across hybrid platforms. You'll assess the current landscape, propose scalable and secure architectures, and guide migration strategies for legacy systems.

Expected outputs include:

End-to-end data architecture design and documentation

A clear roadmap bridging current and future data environments

Governance frameworks and quality standards

Plans for data integration and migration

Metadata and lineage catalogues

Ideal background:

Extensive experience in data architecture within public sector or regulated environments

Strong knowledge of modern data platforms (Azure, AWS), GDPR, and data governance models

Relevant certifications (TOGAF, CDMP, Azure/AWS Data Engineering)
