You will be part of the Data Strategy & Governance team within a newly developed data architecture function. Your responsibilities include analyzing data models, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements. You will help design, develop, and implement data principles and standards across NHSBSA. Main duties:
- Review NHSBSA's critical data assets and catalog data items and sources
- Work with product teams to define data requirements based on data architecture standards
- Manage the repository of NHSBSA's data assets and define/manage data standards
- Develop data models and technical design documentation
- Research emerging technologies and best practices
- Design and maintain metadata repositories
- Collaborate with partners to ensure solutions meet architectural principles
- Provide SME input on data architecture standards and policies
- Evaluate external technical proposals and recommend implementations
- Explain data modeling concepts and produce relevant data models
- Contribute to proposals for change, including estimates and business cases
