Job description

The Data Architect is responsible for the definition, development, and governance of the Data Architecture domain, supporting the design of end-to-end solutions to enhance services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clarity on operations through documentation of core data architecture models, ensuring the model framework uses agreed terminology and accurately describes interdependencies to enable effective collaboration.
  2. Clarify change impacts to facilitate better decision-making by ensuring planned changes to applications, processes, or operating models are fully scoped and constraints are understood, preventing unintended carry-overs.
  3. Enhance understanding of enterprise complexity to improve change prioritization by modeling each application for processes, services, products, and people, and identifying unnecessary complexities.
  4. Previous experience as an Architect, Business Solution Designer, or Principal Analyst.
  5. Experience with structured program and project management approaches.
  6. Extensive experience working in relationship-based environments.
  7. Supporting projects within a matrix organizational structure.
  8. Delivering complex solutions within an enterprise or involving third parties.
  9. Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF and PRINCE.
  10. Subject matter expertise in the Data Definition Domain within an architecture environment.
