An established industry player is seeking a skilled Data Architect to define and lead the data product architecture and roadmap. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to create a comprehensive architectural design, ensuring alignment with strategies and policies. Responsible for defining Data Product Definition, Architecture, and Roadmap.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to define the Target Model backlog and lead the delivery of a comprehensive Architectural Design.
Ensure all designs and guidance align with relevant strategies, roadmaps, and policies.
Experience with UK Mortgages is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in GCP, Harness, Azure is expected.
Support gathering of information requirements from IT and Business stakeholders, ensuring they are realistic and achievable, while simplifying and de-risking the information landscape.
Model information requirements in ways understandable to various stakeholders and relate them to enterprise-wide information architecture.
Identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions and take steps to mitigate weaknesses.
Define the information roadmap for the project and broader program, supporting ongoing development.
Understand the solution's position within the wider application and information landscape, working with other architects to embed the solution effectively.
Ensure data design consistency throughout all phases, facilitate knowledge transfer to the Engineering team, and review downstream deliverables.
Define logical data interfaces between systems and assist in the physical design of data stores, interface files, or services.
Ensure compliance with the client's Information policies and standards.
Lead Architecture Committee governance approvals for artefacts.
