Segment Data Architect Role

The Segment Data Architect bridges business and IT stakeholders to capture and model a data landscape supporting business interests and enabling effective IT data management. You will provide enterprise data design, models, tools, and guidance to help both business and IT understand data utilization.

Skills and Requirements

1. Proven core data architecture skills including data analysis, data modeling (ERD), big data design, master data management patterns and implementation, data landscape design (data flow, mastership, API).
2. Extensive understanding of data management technologies such as database management systems, data services, data lakes, etc.
3. Knowledge of all architecture aspects with an ability to stay current with IT developments; familiarity with other enterprise architecture domains like processes, applications, infrastructure, security.
4. Experience with data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner.
5. Experience in trading, supply, finance, or energy domains is preferred.
