Job summary

Noir in London is seeking an experienced Data Architect to shape and deliver the organisation's enterprise-wide data strategy. You will work with business and technology teams to ensure data remains a strategic asset, designing models and artefacts while focusing on quality, integrity, security and traceability.

The role requires strong experience in data architecture, BI, data warehouse, and cloud/on‑premise technologies with a deep understanding of capital markets data domains.

Data Architect – Leading Investment Bank – London / Hybrid

(Tech stack: Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Strategy, Data Warehouse, Master Data Management, ERP, CRM, BI, ETL/ELT, Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes, RDBMS, NoSQL, AWS Glue, EMR, Capital Markets Data)

Our client is a leading global investment bank with a strong presence across financial markets and commodities. They are now looking for an experienced Data Architect to help shape and deliver their enterprise-wide data strategy, working across business and technology teams to ensure data remains a strategic asset across the organisation.

The successful Data Architect will have strong experience across enterprise data architecture and strategy, Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse platforms, Master Data Management, Data Integration and OLTP database solutions, alongside a solid understanding of Capital Markets data domains including Trade, Sensitivities and Market Data.

You will play a key role in defining data architecture principles, standards and governance, while designing solutions that support both current and future business requirements. The role will involve working closely with senior Business and IT stakeholders, developing data models and architecture artefacts, and ensuring data is managed with the required levels of quality, integrity, security and traceability.

Strong experience across cloud and on-premise data technologies is required, with exposure to RDBMS, NoSQL, Data Lakes, AWS Glue, EMR and Azure Data Factory particularly valuable. You will also have a good understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data integration, data lineage and the wider data engineering landscape.
