Job summary

Lynx Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design scalable and secure data architectures for enterprise-scale data transformation programmes in the UK.

You will develop data platforms, lakes/lakehouses, and ETL/ELT solutions, translating business requirements into technical designs while aligning roadmaps with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven Data Architect with experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, modelling, and data management.
• Hands-on SQL experience.
• Experience designing modern data platforms and cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP and/or Snowflake.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures
• Develop data platforms, data lakes/lakehouses, and ETL/ELT solutions

Essential Experience

• Proven Data Architect experience, ideally within Financial Services or a regulated industry
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modelling, and data management principles
• Hands-on SQL experience
• Experience designing modern data platforms and cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP and/or Snowflake
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Data strategy development
• Python or similar programming languages
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
• Data governance and data quality tooling
• Agile delivery experience
• Leadership or mentoring experience
