We are seeking a Data Architect to join our team, working from any UK location with travel to Banbury as needed. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £80,000 – £100,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand our business model and translate it into effective data architecture.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable data solutions.
• Assess and improve database structures and compliance.
• Collaborate with digital and application teams to optimize data use.
• Stay updated on emerging data technologies.
• Support migration planning and system performance monitoring.
• Educate and influence stakeholders through presentations and support.
• Participate in architectural design discussions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in data architecture or similar roles.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Data platform (Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
• Experience working in Scrum and using source control (git).
• Strong knowledge of database principles, SQL, Spark, Python.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
