About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Data Apprenticeship Coach to support and mentor apprentices up to Level 5 throughout their learning journey. The role involves delivering high-quality coaching, assessment, and support to learners, helping them develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviors required for operational management success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and mentoring to Data apprentices up to Level 5, ensuring progression and qualification achievement.
• Plan and deliver engaging learning sessions, workshops, and one-to-one coaching tailored to individual needs.
• Assess learners' work against apprenticeship standards, providing constructive feedback.
• Guide apprentices in gathering evidence for their portfolios and preparing for End-Point Assessment (EPA).
• Monitor progress through regular reviews, tracking performance against goals.
• Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to ensure a seamless apprenticeship experience.
• Support personal development, leadership, and management skills aligned with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and sector developments.

Essentials:

• Relevant experience in Data engineering, analytics, or related technical roles.
• Teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1 Assessor Award, CAVA, PTLLS, or equivalent).
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and assessing management apprentices.
• Strong knowledge of Data Apprenticeship Standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in e-portfolio systems and virtual learning platforms.
• Ability to build relationships with learners and employers.
