Job summary

Wmjobs in the United Kingdom seeks a Data & Assessment Analyst to work with the Head of Data and Assessment Strategy across the Trust. You will help ensure data processes are accurate, timely and consistent and support schools with Arbor MIS and data for dashboards.

You will use Power BI for datasets, coordinate assessment collections, and help produce clear reports for Trust and school leaders, while applying AI responsibly to streamline tasks and improve reporting workflows.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, development and consistent use of Arbor MIS across the Trust.
• Maintain data standards and carry out quality checks across pupil, staff, attendance, behaviour and assessment information.
• Prepare, maintain and check datasets used in Power BI dashboards and Trust reporting.
• Coordinate assessment collections and support the preparation and validation of statutory returns.
• Produce routine reports, summaries, guidance and training materials for schools and Trust leaders.
• Use AI and automation tools appropriately to improve repeatable administrative and reporting processes.
• Provide responsive first-line support and maintain clear records, action logs and project trackers.

About the role

Working closely with the Head of Data and Assessment Strategy, you will help ensure that Trust-wide data processes are accurate, timely and consistent.

You will support schools with Arbor MIS, prepare and quality-assure data for Power BI dashboards and statutory returns, coordinate assessment data collections, and produce clear reports for Trust and school leaders.

You will also help us use AI and automation responsibly to streamline routine work, strengthen documentation and improve reporting workflows. This is a varied role requiring close collaboration with school data managers, office teams, senior leaders, business managers and central Trust colleagues.

About you

You will be methodical, accurate and confident working with data. You will have strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues across multiple schools. You will understand the importance of confidentiality, data protection and careful checking, including when using AI-generated outputs.

Experience of Arbor MIS, Power BI, school data, statutory returns, assessment processes, GitHub Copilot or workflow automation would be an advantage. Just as importantly, you will bring a positive approach to learning, change and continuous improvement.
