Job summary

Nexify Infosystems is seeking an experienced data governance specialist to lead and implement Azure-based data solutions. You will design semantic models, optimize real-time analytics, and ensure scalable, end-to-end data platform architecture.

The role emphasizes hands-on Purview deployment, medallion ETL pipelines, and a smooth transition from development to BAU, working in a fast-paced cloud environment in London.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in data governance or data management with 3+ years hands-on Purview experience.
• Proficient in the Azure data ecosystem including Azure SQL, Data Lake, Synapse, and Fabric.
• Experience with streaming data and real-time analytics.
• Strong skills in data lineage, cataloging, and quality frameworks.
• Semantic data model design and end-to-end data platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Remediate the existing platform based on Azure review findings.
• Implement robust ETL pipelines following medallion architecture.
• Develop reusable semantic data models for multiple consumers.
• Ensure platform performance and scalability.
• Support transition from development to BAU operations.
• Provide technical expertise for data governance implementation.

Work Experience

• Experience: 5–10+ years in data governance or data management, with at least 3+ years of hands‑on expertise implementing Microsoft Purview.
• Technical Stack: Proficient in the Azure data ecosystem (Azure SQL, Data Lake, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric)
• Real‑time Processing: Experience with streaming data and real‑time analytics
• Performance Tuning: Optimization of data models and query performance
• Data Governance: Implementation of data lineage, cataloging, and quality frameworks
• Semantic data model design and implementation
• End-to-end data platform architecture
• Scalable and maintainable solution design
