Job summary

ICAS, a global professional membership organisation, seeks a Subject Manager, Data Analytics and Risk, to shape data-driven learning content for aspiring Chartered Accountants. You will own the syllabus, ensure current and high-quality material, and work with tutors and assessment teams to deliver a digital-first learning experience.

You will bring strong data analytics, BI, and risk knowledge, with a Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent, to guide content decisions and ethical use of

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting and insight generation.
• Experience using Power BI or similar tools to prepare data and build dashboards.
• Understanding finance, risk or professional education environments and implications for syllabus.
• Interpret complex data into clear recommendations and measurable improvements.
• Ethical data use, data quality, governance and bias considerations.
• Use student performance data and stakeholder insight to drive learning content improvements.
• Chartered Accountancy qualification or equivalent alongside strong data analytics expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the data analytics and risk syllabus and content, with annual updates and long-term roadmap planning.
• Develop and improve learning and assessment content to be current, accurate and engaging.
• Collaborate with learning content teams, tutors and assessment colleagues for effective course build and digital delivery.
• Ensure content reflects data analytics themes: problem-solving, data prep, modelling, Power BI, analytics, visualization and storytelling.
• Promote ethical and effective use of data with governance, bias and professional judgement considerations.
• Use performance data and stakeholder insights to drive continuous improvement in learning content.
