Job summary

Expedia Group in London is seeking a Data & Analytics Program Manager to lead cross-functional data initiatives across travel brands. You will partner with analytics, engineering, and business leaders to deliver complex programs that drive insights and value.

You will shape the analytics product roadmap, manage risks, and champion governance, data quality, and GenAI-enabled reporting across the organization. This is a hands-on, strategic role for someone who loves delivering measurable impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology or business.
  • 2+ years managing cross-functional projects with engineering, sales, finance, etc.
  • Experience in consulting or transformation programs is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Tableau or SQL/Python is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of complex projects across multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, deliverables, milestones and timelines.
  • Prioritize tasks, track schedules, and share weekly updates with leadership.
  • Proactively manage risk with mitigation planning.

  • Act as liaison between C-suite, analysts, and data engineering.

  • Collaborate with engineering to deliver features on time.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Identify areas for program expansion based on market trends.

Data & Analytics Program Manager is part of the Traveler Business Team, which has a mission to deliver the most convenient, rewarding, and memorable ways for people to travel and explore the world. This division is responsible for building and driving the growth of our global consumer business across our Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and Portfolio brands, and across all our lines of businesses including Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Air, Car, Packages, and Insurtech. The mission of the Data & Analytics Programs team is to enable the analytics teams to succeed in their missions of bringing valuable & actionable insights to the business. As a cross-functional team, we act as catalysts and enablers to overall business success through driving complex transformation programs in data and analytics, designing and building new data signals, representing the analytics community with various data engineering teams, and streamlining analytics operations. We set the analytics vision and act as a driver and enabler of simplification and efficiency through close collaboration with data architecture, data strategy, business and finance teams.


Responsibilities


  • Independently drive execution of technical projects within or across various teams, and act as a force multiplier to free the team to focus on technical delivery.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish program objectives, deliverables, milestones and timelines.

  • Prioritize tasks, track project schedule, and share weekly updates with leadership and stakeholders in the relevant forums.

  • Proactively manage risk, working with the team to anticipate new risks and lead mitigation planning.

  • Represent analytics with various data engineering and machine learning teams.

  • Scale analytics and drive analytical efficiency through simplification of reporting, integration of GenAI, and cross team collaboration.

  • Act as the liaison between C-suite, Business Analysts, and Data Engineering.

  • Develop and manage the analytics products roadmap and prioritize features based on customer and business needs.

  • Engage in designing and providing specifications for the new BI solution.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, simplification, and continuous improvement within the wider team.

  • Identify areas for program expansion, enhancement, or modification based on business needs and market trends.

  • Raise the standard of products produced by the team in the area of data visualization & AI through coaching, innovation and best practices.


Experience and qualifications


  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

  • 2+ years of experience managing projects cross-functional with engineering, sales, finance, etc., preferably in the e-commerce, hospitality or technology sector.

  • Experience in consulting, especially driving transformation or change programs is a big plus.

  • Advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint and a working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) or programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python) is a plus.

  • Previous exposure to PM tools and methodologies (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Agile) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.

  • Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders (e.g. Analytics, Finance, Data Engineering, ML, Business, etc), as well as communicate with C-suite executives.

  • Experience working with data (analysis, migration, modelling, governance, reporting).

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to align and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Passion for continuous improvement and driving innovation.
