The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with an esteemed, global financial & commercial advisory, solely working with key players & funds for low-carbon & clean energy projects.

As part of their ongoing and continuous growth, our client is currently searching for a Data Analytics Manager, who will play a direct role in the advisory of clean energy & decarbonization projects – by enhancing financial & commercial client propositions, through excellent data understanding & visualization capabilities.

Reporting to the Head of Data Analytics & Head of Commercial Advisory, this individual will have the vital responsibility of connecting the commercial/project delivery team & technical team – ensuring propositions hold maximum value for their clients.

Key responsibilities:

1. Project delivery: Presenting & contributing to client engagements, agreeing deliverables & ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
2. Data Analytics: Delivering clear data visualization propositions that tell a story for Net Zero projects surrounding Heat Networks, CHP, eMobility and Smart Energy Systems.
3. Explaining technical, data-driven solutions to clients in an understandable manner.
4. Actively developing innovation & commercially viable propositions used in bidding presentations.
5. Leading in developing dashboards & methodologies that support consistent project delivery.
6. Mentoring & coaching junior staff, as well as developing training pathways to support their professional growth.

Required Attributes:

1. > 5 years experience in a client-facing consulting/advisory role, surrounding clean energy or decarbonisation projects.
2. Excellent academic background – within a STEM, Economics, or Analytical subject.
3. Proven financial analysis capabilities.
4. Ability to communicate & present technical propositions clearly.
5. Commercial & innovative mindset.
6. Thrives in teamwork, high-pressure environments.
7. Coding skills - ideally Python, SQL, or Tableau.
8. Market / Commercial analytics experience.
