Job Description:

Pet Nutrition (PN) is a vibrant category in the FMCG sector. As part of our Digital First initiative, we aim to digitalize business processes and develop future-ready capabilities to achieve growth, profitability, and user-centricity.

The digitization of Demand & Supply is a key focus. This role requires thought leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to lead a team of data and analytics professionals.

Reporting to the SRM D&A Lead, the Global Director, PN Growth, this position involves developing and scaling Data & Analytics products to unlock SRM potential globally. The role is project-based with an initial duration of 3 years, with potential for future opportunities within Mars.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the D&A delivery for Strategic Pricing & Price Package Architecture aligned with PN's growth goals.
  • Partnering with business owners to embed top-tier Pricing & Price-Pack Architecture capabilities.
  • Collaborating with global and regional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Designing and implementing scalable analytics solutions.
  • Developing a comprehensive data strategy for collection, storage, and utilization.
  • Focusing on value creation, analytics adoption, and efficiency improvements.
  • Engaging stakeholders to align D&A initiatives with business objectives.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing D&A team.
  • Tracking KPIs to evaluate product success.
  • Communicating data concepts effectively and providing training.
  • Ensuring data privacy, security, and compliance.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Proven leadership in developing data and analytics solutions that drive business value, with knowledge of pricing domains.
  • Experience managing analytical product delivery and translating data insights into business actions.
  • Strong storytelling skills and experience communicating with non-technical leadership.
  • Ability to influence in a matrixed organization and manage external vendor relationships.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of CPG and retail data sources and analytics tools.
