Job summary

Client Server Ltd. in Watford, Hertfordshire, is seeking a senior Data Analytics Lead to own the data strategy and analytics platform. The role focuses on delivering advanced Power BI, SQL and Excel solutions within an Azure environment, shaping data pipelines and CRM integrations.

You will shape the data platform, work with c-suite stakeholders, and drive transformation using AI and automation across data environments. Hybrid working arrangement with WFH options in the UK.

Qualifications

• Senior Data & Analytics or Data Management experience.
• Strong technical skills in Power BI, Excel, SQL and Python.
• Experience with Azure data environments, ideally Azure Data Factory.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, engineering, pipelines and integrations.
• Familiar with CRM, automation and low-code technologies such as Power Automate, Power Apps and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with ability to turn data into commercial insight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic, commercially-minded with interest in AI and automation.

Responsibilities

• Shape and own the firm’s data platform, including data pipelines and data models.
• Deliver advanced Power BI, Excel and analytics solutions for actionable insights.
• Audit and improve data systems and processes; manage data quality and secure storage.
• Collaborate with c-suite stakeholders to explain concepts and drive transformational change.

Data Analytics Lead (Azure PowerBI SQL) Watford / WFH to £100k

Do you have strong Data Analytics knowledge? Looking for an opportunity to take ownership and shape the data strategy of a growing company?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on data transformation role; this is a newly created, influential role with responsibility for data strategy, analytics, data platforms, automation and CRM, helping the firm use technology and AI to make better decisions, improve efficiency and support sustainable growth.

As the Data Analytics Lead you'll initially learn about the business, audit the current data systems and processes and then shape the firm's data platform, including data pipelines, data models, quality and secure storage as well as delivering advanced Power BI, Excel and analytics solutions that provide actionable insight.

You'll collaborate with c-suite stakeholders to explain the technical concepts, achieve buy-in and manage transformational change. You'll be using modern Microsoft tools within an Azure environment e.g. Fabric, PowerBI and advanced SQL to design and create Data Warehouses and modern reporting tools.

Location / WFH:

You'll join a collaborative and social team in Watford, three days a week in a hybrid work from home model.

About you:

• You have experience in a senior Data & Analytics or Data Management role
• You have strong technical skills across Power BI, Excel, SQL and Python
• You have experience with Azure data environments, ideally Azure Data Factory
• You have a strong understanding of data platforms, engineering, pipelines and integrations
• You're familiar with CRM, automation and low-code technologies such as Power Automate, Power Apps and SharePoint
• You have strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear commercial insight
• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, confident and pragmatic with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• You have a strategic, commercially minded approach and a genuine interest in AI and automation
