Job summary

Boeing Defence UK is offering a 12-month data analytics internship in Bristol. The role covers end-to-end data work including collection, transformation, modelling, analysis and visualization. You will contribute to production pipelines and deliver a small, documented project.

The internship requires being in the UK, working on-site in Bristol, and you may need to visit other Boeing sites in the UK. Relocation is not provided, and security clearance will be pursued locally.

Qualifications

• GCSE and A level/IB with strong academic record.
• Right to work in the UK; we do not sponsor employment visas.
• First or second year in an accredited engineering or mathematics degree.
• Evidence of successful teamwork and good communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn the team’s data environment, pipelines, tooling and standards.
• Assist in extracting, cleaning, and validating datasets from internal sources and APIs.
• Implement or enhance ETL/ELT logic under guidance using team tools.
• Help build or refine data models and metadata to support analytics and reporting.
• Develop dashboards or reports to answer specific business questions or measure KPIs.
• Troubleshoot data issues and investigate anomalies.
• Present a final demo/walkthrough of the assigned project and provide a handoff for maintenance.
