Job summary

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology is seeking a Data & Analytics Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, analytics models, and BI solutions that enable data-driven decisions across the organisation.

You will work on data platforms, Power BI dashboards, data quality and governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insights and support advanced analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related role.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI).
• Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Exposure to data science workflows or advanced analytics.
• Knowledge of data governance and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and data architectures.
• Build and optimise analytics models and datasets for business use.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility across systems.
• Support and evolve internal data platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Enable advanced analytics and data science initiatives.
