Job summary

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology is seeking a Data & Analytics Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, analytics models and BI solutions. You will enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation while contributing to high-impact data products.

The role emphasises collaboration with stakeholders, data governance and modern data stacks, with a focus on Power BI and Python-based data processing. Bristol-area base with UK rights to work.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in data-related field with relevant work.
• Experience in data engineering, analytics, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures.
• Build analytics models and datasets for business use.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions.
• Enable advanced analytics and data science initiatives.
